Acceptance

By using Nafs, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Nafs is

Nafs is an accountability app designed to help Muslim men quit pornography through daily check-ins, a panic button, and accountability partnerships.

Nafs is not a medical, therapeutic, or mental health service. It's not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or psychiatric treatment. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country) to use Nafs
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• One account per person

Community guidelines

If you use community features (group chat, accountability partnerships), you agree to:

• Treat others with respect and dignity
• Not share explicit or inappropriate content
• Not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Not impersonate others
• Not use the platform for commercial solicitation

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We will remove violating content and suspend or permanently ban accounts that breach these guidelines.

Payments

Nafs may offer free trials or paid plans. Pricing and available plans are displayed at the time of purchase within the app and are subject to change. Payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Refund requests follow the respective platform's standard refund policy.

Islamic content

Nafs includes Quranic verses and hadith references. We strive for accuracy and only reference authentic sources. However, this content is provided for spiritual support and motivation, not as religious rulings (fatawa). For specific religious guidance, consult a qualified scholar.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we'll provide a reason.

Disclaimers

Nafs is provided "as is." We don't guarantee specific results. Recovery is personal and outcomes vary. We're not liable for:

• Interactions between accountability partners
• Content shared by other users in community features
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Decisions made based on app content

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nafs and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
